We began essentially making this project, "Perspectives of the Illusion" during the end phase of our first demo "First Amendment". At first P.o.I. (Perspectives of the Illusion) was just called "Perspectives". We went with the final title because my brother and I both were beginning to notice how different, but similar our stories in our rhymes are together. The perspective of both me and my brothers rhymes are often different because the way we both view and live our lives. We want you to hear our perspectives of this illusion we are all living in. This is an honest critique of our modern day American society. The cover art says it all if you really take a while to look at it. Thanks a lot Ren, you really brought our vision to life.

Making this piece was one of the hardest things we've embarked, but also the most rewarding. This project represents stepping stones toward the knowledge to become better producers as well as writers being not only Thetic and Peace Manuel, but Jimmy and Jake. We wanted to follow our hearts rather than fitting the mass appeals standards making this. There is still so much more to learn, perfect, and harness in our craft. This project also represents dedication that we had to have so we could see through that this project was finished. There were many times we didn't have a lot of time to create because of both of us juggling school and work, but we always stayed true to our hearts and Hip Hop so that we could say we did this ourselves and be proud of this work. We're mainly glad to be contributing to Hip Hop with a positive message to inspire others to follow their dreams and follow their hearts.
Time takes perfection, perfection takes time. We hope you enjoy our perspective.
